Whether you’re building autonomous agents in production, running local experiments with Ollama, or automating workflows with Claude/Gemini, you’ve probably hit a moment where an agent needed a specific capability that doesn't exist yet in the Skill Library.

This space is dedicated to brainstorming, requesting, and debating new skills before drafting formal issues or opening PRs.

Why discuss here first?

1. Avoid duplicate effort: Often a requested capability already exists, is being actively built, or can be solved with a clean parameter upgrade to an existing skill (eg. semantic_web_proxy, prompt_injection_firewall, or context_optimizer).
2. Ground ideas in real agent needs: We optimize for tools that solve actual, recurring production friction, not hypothetical toys. Hearing how you plan to use a skill in a real agent loop helps determine its real-world value.
3. Shape the contract early: Nailing down the inputs, outputs, deterministic execution boundaries, and failure modes in a short discussion saves days of PR back-and-forth later.

How to pitch an idea (keep it simple)

No formal paperwork needed, just drop a reply below covering (or not):

• The Problem: What is your host agent struggling with today? What breaks without this skill?
• The Concept: What should the skill do? (Category + name idea, eg. data_engineering/csv_deduplicator).
• Inputs & Outputs: What goes into execute(), and what structured JSON should come out?
• Execution Model: Can this be deterministic/offline, or does it require an external API?
• Why a Skill? Why does this belong in a reusable registry rather than ad-hoc script code?

On 1st issue when skillware launch I propose whatsapp integration for hitl, I dont sure if it even good idea, but I would like it as a skill.

I come here from mail notifiction and saw new community is like Discord or Slack but on Github? I only using skillware for crypto scan and trading because of Hermes agent and I want to learn how to be part of it and create my own skill for crypto trading bots so what skill should be proposem for this?

Welcome @unassassinnumerique, and no idea tbh, this is my first time creating discussions on github, but yeah, feels like something betwen forum and social layer for repos I guess.

By Hermes I guess you mean Hermes3 from ARPA? While H3 was build as an agent specifically for Web3 operations, we are currently distilling it with @Hendobox who is leading the web3 category so far, and the idea is to bring all H3 capabilities on Skillware, seperate them in different skills, and make them way better than the stale outdated Hermes3 monolithic tools.

As for creating your own Skills, I would first start with open issues, there is a label for skill proposals if you're interested, before proposing your own skill, as the repo is undergoing a seismic shift that will affect old and new skills and bundle shapes.

Still, what is missing from your stack, or what would be the one killer skill that would elevate your crypto endeavors?

yes Hermes3 Web3 agent with Gemini. i most interest in my Hermes3 skill capability to use in other models i have and mcp.

@rosspeili I have an idea to propose but not sure if it is needed skill. I have discussed with Claude about IP routing for AI agents when they search stores. For example some stores don't work in some countries, or even worse, they work but show different prices and products to different countries. I wonder if we can make a skill that allows my agents to change their IP based on what I need and from where? Not sure if this make sense or even good idea.
