A final project for Govt 496/696: Intro to Programming for Applied Political Data Science
Summary: Our aim is to use text-based analysis techniques, specifically topic modeling and sentiment analysis, to compare and contrast speeches given in State of the Union Addresses (and foreign equivalents) to speeches given at the UN General Debates.
