I'd just like to add to this. Today I connected my older Logitech TrackMan Wheel ( That being said. I really like the idea behind OpenLogi, and I'd love to see it eventually become a unified peripheral management tool. For example, having a single overview of all connected input devices, including older wired devices like my Logitech TrackMan Wheel, would be useful even when a device doesn't expose any advanced configuration options. Longer term, it would be great to see support for non-Logitech devices too. Ideally, the application could provide a common interface for device discovery and configuration, while using device-specific backends for functionality that depends on proprietary protocols. I realise that this is a much broader scope than replacing Logitech Options+, and I'm not suggesting that it should be a priority over the project's current goals. I'm curious whether this is a direction the project might consider in the future. |

OpenLogi currently targets Logitech hardware. #1159 tracks opt-in non-Logitech remapping. Workflows and device images are already partly supported. |
