AD Initial Setup not working

Describe the bug

I try to setup the AD connection in the initial setup page.

But it fails all the time, it doesn't matter which values I change or which Admin User i will try.

Also if I remove @domain.tlc from username it still not works.

Hi,

I can't help but notice the out= at the start of your Base DN and ou= before de. These should probably be dc=, although I'm pretty sure that's irrelevant here as the AD test checks under the root domain OU.... so in your case... *****.de and does not utilize the Base DN...(since the provided user may be outside the scope of the Base DN). It automatically generates the root DN for the AD test, so for you dc=*****,dc=de.

The error indicates the provided user account authenticated, but could not find their own account.

Try correcting the Base DN, but I'm not placing bets...

I'm also not running Linux code in any environment I control other than the beta demo at the moment.... So I can't rule out a Linux only bug....

I could probably improve that error message as well, I had originally been pretty generic with it, but now it only throws this for this particular situation, so it can be more descriptive.
