Please help with connecting a 2.4" TFT LCD 320x240 ILI9341 display

I bought a 2.4" TFT LCD (320x240, ILI9341) for my ESP32 S3-DevKitC-1. I found a wiring diagram by GViegas0 on GitHub and connected everything according to it, though I haven't installed an SD card yet.

The result:

• The display was black, but I added the following to pins_arduino.h:

• I connected the LCD to the 3.3V rail, assembled the setup, and flashed the firmware. Now the screen just shows "booting." I'm not sure what to do next—if anyone has figured this out, I'd really appreciate some help.
