Unable to self-host on Github Codespaces

I created a Codespace from this repo, and when I followed the instructions in the contributing.md I got stuck on ```pnpm build (x2)```. I assume this means I have to ```run pnpm build``` twice. The terminal displayed the error message: ```ELIFECYCLE  Command failed with exit code 1.```. I checked my node version (v24.14.0) and pnpm version (10.12.1). I'm on chromeOS without Linux. Help :(
