Directed Command Support

I'm interested in adding at least some of the directed commands.

• SNR? - What is my SNR?
• GRID? - What is your grid locator?
• INFO? - What is your station information?
• STATUS? - What is your station status message?
• HEARING? - What stations are you HEARING?
• AGN? - Have the station automatically retransmit their last message

I'm not seeing a straightforward way to integrate them. The Mode dropdown doesn't feel like the right place to include all of these, even though it technically has CQ and heartbeat.

Have you thought through this at all yet? Maybe we add them to that dropdown as a quick win and then explore other UIs later? Let me know, I'll get a PR up for whatever.

Hmm, to be honest I've not gotten that far yet. Probably aught to have a design for it by now... I believe it actually currently works if you just type them by hand too. Not that thats a particularly good solution.

Yeah it definitely does work if you type them by hand, I've been using that successfully. I'll think a bit more on this and maybe play around with some ideas.

@punk-kaos is the description of this repo right, this is meant for tablets, not phones? If so, I think we have some affordance for more options. If it needs to work on both I have fewer working ideas at the moment :)

Its meant for both, honestly most of the testing has been on phones. Probably should update that as originally I was aiming more towards tablet use until I realized how cool it was to pair my phone with a tiny radio and go crazy :)

I'll likely open a PR tomorrow related to this, but I got carried away because I was having fun working on it. I'm not attached to the code, but I definitely care about some of the strategy behind what I've been playing with. I'll have more detail on the code but the overview is

• Simplified monitor controls with higher level clarity around rig status separate from TX status
• Stronger threading designs, which feel similar to other modern text based experiences out there today (e.g. text messages, signal, meshtastic/meshcore)
• Contacts as a first order concept with additional data like notes, location, distance/bearing
• Network connection mapping
• Relays now use path setting per conversation/station, not per message
• Stronger adherence to material v3
