Further development and debugging

Hello,

As I see this project is in heavy development and also migrated recently to a new backend architecture ?
Nevertheless I would be proud beiing able to help a bit but would need some advices / directions what should be focused first.
After installing / deinstalling the plugin a few times I ran in several little bugs but what do you need to be done first?
As for now for example :
I removed the clip model on my own as it wouldnt be uninstalled autoamically in windows => I was after unable to redowload it via interfaces and had to point directly to the /api/download in order to get it back - now its installed again but the download button doesnt know it.
I also found out that uninstalling wouldnt clear the preferences in Lightroom file. That way after reinstalling the plugin and the preferences couldnt be syncronyzed.
Also the start server command in UI doesnt work etc.
the face recognition also "recognize" trees as faces when asked - and mix real faces with random fotos.

So : how may I help ?

Hi Olivier,

To be honest I have no real roadmap at the moment. I'm just fixing bugs as they appear right now, if you are willing to help you are very welcome. :-) Additionally some features aren't really good at the moment. I think the worst are AI edit and culling.
I'm not sure if the plugin preferences can and should be removed on uninstall. But for the other bugs you discovered, I would just say go for it :-)
Personally I'm taking some more time for doing photography at the moment, because that's what I wrote this plug-in for and I had little time for that lately..

hi Bastian,

I must admit, most of your work for the moment it overwelming me - I just ran into your project because I tried several tagging project.
Im not quite used to lua - and also not very fit in programming but I'm used in testing software and understanding architecures.
If its ok for you -as soon as I find bugs or have question about features I will write a list and questions - and then you can decide on what we should go before writing huge bug reports etc because for what I see there are many parts which should be consolidated before new features.
For example there is an option to load catalog hierarchy- but it has no endpoind at all in the tagmanager.
