Delay in tooltip closing when clicking outside

I’m rendering a tooltip using openOnClick. In my application, clicking on the three‑dot menu opens the tooltip. When I click anywhere outside, the focus is immediately removed from the three dots, but the tooltip remains open briefly before closing. There appears to be a slight delay while the tooltip is being dismissed.

react-tooltip version: 5.26.0
react version: 18.2.0
