Hello everyone, I've been having performance issues in games for like 8 months or so.
My avg fps is ok but everyonce in a while a stutters happened even if I stand still. They are not happening in specific moments, they are completely random and they do not happen after X amount of time, at least for what I've seen.
This started happening during december, back then I had a 12900k with a z690 motherboard paired with 64gb of drr5 ram running at 5200mhz and a 4080 gpu.
As my cpu was getting a bit older I decided to go crazy and I went for a 9950x3d cpu so I changed both motherboard and cpu.
My surprise was that the issues were still there.
I could be be having 96 fps standing still in mh wilds for instance (i know it's a very poorly optmize game) and my % 1 low dropped to the 40s.
This was not happenig before winter time. Ironically when Monster Hunter Wilds was performing bad for most people for me it was fine.
Anyways I ended up buying new ram as well and my surprise was the issue was still there. I also tried switching the game folder to different nvme's but nothing fixed the issue. the only thing that I have left to change was my gpu (lucky I didn't)
I tried reinstalling windows, bios is updated, same as am5 chipset driver. But the only thing I didn't do, if I'm not mistaken becuase I've tried a lot of things so far, was play the games without fancontrol and without pawnio. One of the first things I do after I install windows is get fan control up and running and that automatically installs pawnio now. After uninstalling pawnio and not having fancontrol running the behaviour seems to be fix and my %1 lows are not droping that hard anymore.
So my question after all this amount of text that I just wrote is, can panw io or fancontrol be really causing this?
If so, is pawn io mandatory for fancontrol? is there a workaround to not usre pawnio?
Thanks in advance!
