Fan Control only detects GPU fans (CPU and Case fans missing)

Hello,

I downloaded the program for the first time because I've heard a lot of great reviews about it. However, after installing it, nothing appeared except what is shown in the attached picture. I am not sure what the problem is.

Also, does it conflict with MSI Afterburner regarding the GPU? I am asking because I don't know how to set it up correctly.

Any help would be appreciated!

Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor

It is already installed on my system, but how can I check if it is working properly?

If there was no issue on installation it should be fine.

To verify sensors, take latest master build from here:
https://github.com/LibreHardwareMonitor/LibreHardwareMonitor/actions/workflows/master.yml

Scroll down, download and execute "LibreHardwareMonitor.Windows.Forms".
See if it detects the missing Fans and other data.

If the sensors are missing aswell:

• create an issue on LibreHardwareMonitor repository and attach/upload report (via File -> Save Report)
• close this issue here

I'm having the same issue, but I've been using FC for several years, not a new install. It just happened after a restart. Latest Windows update was a security update a week ago.

Thanks. Tried that and confirming that it's not showing fan readings, and neither is HWInfo64 fwiw.

Another person thats used Fan Control for a while now and recently only GPU sensors are now detected. Turns out SignalRGB had taken over monitoring and stopped Fan Control. Disables it in RBG and working again now.

Following up: it's working again today and I don't know why.

Steps I had tried yesterday:
-Reinstalled FanControl
-Tried w/ Defender disabled
-Reinstalled all AMD chipset drivers (7800X3D)
-Updated mobo UEFI (ASRock B650E Taichi Lite)
-Set fan curves in UEFI. While doing this I noticed that one of the two CPU cooler fans was running a higher RPM than the other, the lower one being on CPU_FAN1 header and the other on CPU_FAN2. I put them on a splitter to just CPU_FAN1.

Restarted and tested after each of these steps, and it didn't work at any step.

Just now, I checked and it's working again. I didn't restart. I can't explain why but maybe this helps diagnostically, idk.

Edit 6/22: it stopped working again, I'm just going to give up and use the motherboard curves. I do not have SignalRGB installed.
