first confirm what nodejs version you are running, you must have node 18 or above! (best use latest lts which is 22)
if its an older version, stop meshcentral, install latest node, then start meshcentral again and confirm details
by running info in the console tab of my server

Hello,
I have attempted to upgrade as you suggested and this is what happened:
* I first upgraded NodeJS which went smoothly.
* I then restarted the MeshCentral Service and attempted the server self-upgrade. This broke the server immediately, and the service wouldn't ever restart.
* I restored from backup and retried - same result.
* I then figured I could do a fresh install, so I did that by downloading the Windows MSI, renaming the existing folders, and doing a fresh install. This froze at the point of running the MeshCentral Service, and I had to re-run the installer, this time selecting the re-install option.
* The re-install worked, and I was able to see the login screen. However, the HTTPS was messed up because the certificate folders were missing.
* I copied the old meshcentral-data folder into the new installation location and restarted the service.
* This time, I was able to login successfully, and the HTTPS worked perfectly! However, all of my agents now appear offline!
I have A LOT of agents. Please tell me there's a way to get them all back online! I can now do the auto-update and everything, but I can't see any agents online. Please help!!

Hello, I am attempting to upgrade the server to the latest version, but the upgrade keeps crashing. I was at version 1.XX.XX (I've forgotten the exact version) but after the crash I had to restore from an older backup, and I unfortunately ended up at version 0.8.0.
How can I upgrade the server tot he latest version? Is there a manual upgrade method that won't let me lose my settings?
