Why it is better than using TWAMP?

interesting project.
But I can't understand what benefits this project give compare to well-known TWAMP (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5357) and implementation like https://github.com/nokia/twampy? Could please share your thought on that, maybe I messed something.
