White borders in Dark mode!

I just installed the app and went to settings to check themes and saw that the settings panel/dialog has a sharp white border around the panel.

If its a design choice, at least make the border a bit thin and gray-ish so that it doesn't pop out that much.
And if its a bug or something, please fix. or i can do it if you want.

I'd say it's neither intentional nor a bug😉 I just didn't style this border and it looks fine so far to my eyes. But I see that a less obtrusive dialog border might be preferable.

But, did (do) you manage to get it running from the source code? It is intended, that one just types npm i and then can start developing on it with npm start, npm test, and all the other scripts defined in the package.json. But in the NPM ecosystem were additional security measures introduced, and when I last tried, updating the packages -- especially Electron -- was just plainly broken with a current Node version. After my last session, I decided to pause for a while, since such weird dependency problems are a rather big part of my daily job and this is not fun to me.

Thanks! I did manage to get it running from the source, although I ran into the electron installation issue you mentioned. on my setup (nodejs v24), electron 41.6.1 failed to install correctly, but after testing a newer electron version (43.1.0), the project started up and i was able to work on it.

I then installed node v22 LTS just to see if electron 41.6.1 is working at all, and it is working.

Anyway, i've implemented the dialog border styling for both light and dark themes, and i'm just preparing a few before/after screenshots. I'll open a PR soon.
