Per the title, getting the following error when attempting to pip install:

Did you install casacore on your system? Note that python-casacore builds on top of casacore.

Yes. casacore was installed using Homebrew, following the macOS instructions from the github

It likely means that casacore wasn't build with python3 turned on. Older versions didn't do that automatically. Is this still an issue or can we close the ticket?
