Request to publish this to the Open VSX repository as well.
Non-Microsoft software based on vscode tends to use this repository for extensions due to Microsoft licensing.

I haven't pushed any packages to there before, have you? Do you know what the process is? Does it use the same tooling to publish to the VSCode Marketplace?

There is also an option to allow packages to be auto copied from the VSCode marketplace:
