Won't work when Calibre opens first

I find this only works when first setting the X4 to Calibre connect, THEN opening Calibre with the plugin enabled. If I open Calibre first, then set the X4 for Calibre transfer, it hangs. Also, no way to see which books are already on the device and which aren't, any work around for this?

I can't reproduce this. Opening calibre and then activating File Transfer > Calibre Wireless on the X4 with Crosspoint 1.1.1 connects normally.
