Recurring task not on the correct day

Hi,

When I add a task on January 5th with this settings:

And the following recurring data:

And I close this task today I would expect to see the task appear on the first Monday of February, but I pop-ups on February 1st. I would expect to see it on the first Monday of February, so... February 2nd.

Am I doing something wrong, or it something wrong with the logic?

yeah, looks like it's affect "adaptive" recurring tasks in particular. I tried setting to "due date" mode it worked correctly. I wonder if the bug has something to do with timezone.

I've got this in my compose file (not sure if it does anything since I can't connect with the CLI of the container):

environment:
      - TZ=Europe/Amsterdam

And my browser / system is also on Europe/Amsterdam and according to https://webbrowsertools.com/timezone/:

I've noticed something similar. When I create a task today (it's Monday) and set it to recur weekly (Recurring, Weekly, Mon, Apply), the first occurrence is tomorrow (Tuesday). My Docker settings have the correct timezone configuration.

Hi @njfberg, would you help me troubleshoot this, since it's a pretty inconsistent bug, I couldn't reproduce it. Could you try to create the same task in https://demo.tasktrove.io/all using the same browser? This could help tracking down if this bug is server based or client based.

Also, if you could capture the network payload when create the task, it would be useful too.

It happens also in the demo environment.

1. create a task test for today

2. I make it recurring on Tuesday (it is Tuesday today)

3. it shows up for today - correct behavior

4. If I click to mark it done, the next occurence is tomorrow (Wednesday). I would expect it to show up next week Tuesday instead.

5. The next iteration is then also a Wednesday (instead of a Tuesday)
