  • Sprint by holding forwards and holding CTRL
  • Punch a mob
    • This will briefly interrupt your sprint, but you'll automatically start sprinting again
  • You're now sprinting clientside but not serverside
    • No hunger lost by "sprinting" this way as it counts as walking; other (modded) things that detect sprinting serverside will thus also not activate in this state (like "Piston Boots" from "Adventure Backpack" giving speed effect while sprinting)

I believe this is a good candidate for getting fixed by this mod as it's a somewhat noticable bug that's present in vanilla, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to fix.
