Description

Currently, only DNS resolvers with IPv4 addresses can be used. Some DNS providers like NextDNS can only be used in a meaningful way with either IPv6 DNS or DoT/DoH. Since DoH can't/won't be implemented (#123, #322), IPv6 is the best alternative. Android does have a system-wide DoT setting, but I would like to use different DNS servers for each individual user profile. E.g. the Mullvad VPN Android app also has support for IPv6 DNS servers.

Use system DoT, but it's not a great solution, because it's a system-wide setting
