Core Requirement: Controlling two characters with a single gamepad. Currently, only the joystick of Player 2 (P2) works, and it is necessary to enable all buttons of P2 (including action buttons, function buttons, etc.) instead of restricting button functions.

Just set the same controller device index for both ports.

The settings have been configured, yet only the joystick functions properly while other buttons fail to work. Tests show that the new cores do not work, whereas some of the old cores are functional instead. The test was conducted on the Android 13 system with the Mesen core.
