[bug]: Cannot proceed to create account in god mode

Current behavior

I followed this tutorial to self-host plane. However, when I tried to create account in gold mode, it always give me error code 5165 and error message INVALID_ADMIN_PASSWORD in the URL. I tried to prime-cli stop then prime-cli start but it did not help.

Steps to reproduce

follow this tutorial to install plane on AWS debian 12. then create account with certain passwords. I have some password that could work and others does not (while it satisfies the requirements)

Hi @gh-dataops,

It looks like the issue is due to an incorrect instance admin password. Please double-check the password you're entering.

If you've forgotten it, you can reset the instance admin password by following this guide:
https://developers.plane.so/self-hosting/govern/reset-password#reset-password

Also, you're currently running an outdated version of Plane. Please upgrade to the latest version using the following commands:

prime-cli update
prime-cli upgrade

I have the same issue. When navigating to Plane in the browser for the first time, I'm redirected to a page to create the god mode account. But even after I fill out the form, I'm never able to progress past it. I get the same invalid admin password in the URL.

I didn't set or change any passwords or account names before starting the instance.

@Midnight-Sink I simply tried some other password to use. some of them could work.

It seems your used password is not strong enough (at least doesn't match some criteria). After I used a password generated by my password manager the account creation for God Mode worked.

@rikwillems I believe you are right, but all the requirements on the screen are shown satisfied. there must be some hidden ones that the weak one violates.
