Describe the bug

When I try to sign in to my Google account using the latest version of microG, the Google login page opens normally and microG is able to connect to Google's authentication servers without any issue. I can enter my email and password successfully, and the authentication process appears to work correctly.

However, after the login process is completed, my account is not actually added to the app. Instead, the login is refused, rejected, or silently fails. It seems like Google's servers may be treating the login attempt as suspicious or as if it were coming from an automated bot. As a result, I cannot finish signing in even though the authentication step itself succeeds.

This issue only happens after the credentials have already been accepted. The problem is not connecting to Google or opening the login page—the failure occurs at the final account authorization stage, where access is denied and the account is never added to microG.

To Reproduce

1. Install the latest version of microG.

2. Open YouTube Vanced.

3. Tap Sign in.

4. Complete the Google login process with a valid Google account.

5. Wait for the authentication to finish.

6. Instead of adding the account successfully, the login is refused/rejected and the account is not added.

Expected behavior

After successfully authenticating with Google, the account should be added to microG and I should be signed in to YouTube Vanced without any errors.

Actual behavior

Google authentication completes successfully, but the final authorization is refused. The account is not added, and I remain logged out. It appears as though Google may be rejecting the authorization request or flagging it as suspicious.

System

Additional context

I have already tried reinstalling microG, clearing app data, removing and re-adding my Google account, and using the newest available version. The problem persists every time. The login page works correctly and communicates with Google's servers, but the account is always rejected after authentication. This makes it impossible to use Google account login in YouTube Vanced.

Can you confirm whether you're using Revanced MicroG, or the actual Vanilla MicroG? Vanilla will have the package name com.google.android.gms.

Even if you are using the real MicroG, you'll probably still need to report this to Revanced instead of us.

Also, if you open MicroG, going to Google Account, and try adding the account from there does it work? If that works, but YouTube Vanved does not, then you'll definitely need to report to them instead.

I have the similar issue.

Installed latest vanilla microG v0.3.15.250932 from F-droid. Trying to add my Google account. All the login steps pass successfully, but then when I have to agree to Google's Terms of Service, I press I AGREE and get:

I have the same issues and just made my own thread about this. I got it to work - once somehow - by frantically installing and uninstalling morphed, revanced, etc app variants and waiting 10+ minutes for 3.13 microg variant from revanced to login. That didn't link as the user noted and somehow showed up on reboot.

This + my thread and similar reports. There's something fishy in new versions, google side, or whatever underlying is.

I have all checkmarks enabled, perfect installs, all huawei "issues" disabled etc per my thread. Never an issue before now. In this version even when logged in successfully to YT the connection is incredibly slow. Like, you have to wait 2-3 minutes for it to "initialize" a connection the videos while buffering, etc and then it's usually good from there.

And, no, it's not connection speed. I have a 1GB connection.
