Use the appropriate HTML lang attribute for different languages #7173
Currently, the Modrinth website appears to hardcode lang="en" on the HTML document regardless of the selected language. As a result, browsers cannot properly apply regional glyph variants and must rely on the user's system font fallback.
For example, when a user switches the website language to Traditional Chinese, characters may still be rendered using mainland China (Simplified) glyph standards if their system font prioritizes mainland Chinese. Similarly, when a Japanese user switches to Japanese, certain Kanji are mistakenly rendered with Chinese glyph variants (or vice versa).
Describe the solution you'd like
To resolve this, updating the <html lang="..."> attribute to match the user’s active locale (e.g., zh-CN, zh-TW, ja, ko) would allow browsers to apply the correct regional fonts and display glyphs according to local conventions.
