Attachment disappears when sending a message with an inline image and a regular attachment

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the composer in Nextcloud Mail.
2. Add an image directly into the message body so that it is sent as an inline image.
3. Add an additional regular file attachment, for example a PDF.
4. Send the email.
5. Open the message at the recipient.

Expected behavior

The recipient should receive:

• the inline image displayed inside the HTML message body
• the additional PDF as a normal downloadable attachment

Sending a message with multiple regular attachments works correctly.

Actual behavior

When an email contains:

• an inline image in the message body
• and an additional regular attachment

the inline image is received correctly, but the regular attachment is no longer shown to the recipient.

The issue is reproducible.

The message is sent internally between two mailboxes on the same mailcow server.

No external mail gateway is involved in this test.

Reproducible in current main ( 1968041 ) (5.12.0-alpha.1).

Seems to be a display issue. In the web mail of my mail providers the attachments are shown correctly.

Installing the Viewer app solved the issue for me.

Does your installation has the viewer app. You can check it running php occ app:list.

Usually Viewer is bundled by default. But depending on how you setup you instance it might be missing or disabled.
