device markers look fuzzy on retina screens

Description

The device markers look pretty fuzzy when osem is used on a retina / high resolution screen:

Expected Behavior

The markers look as sharp as the rest of the page. 😎

Steps to reproduce

Open staging.opensensemap.org on a retina screen / screen with a high resolution.

Environment

MacOS 15.7.3, Firefox 148.0.2
