To improve long-term preservation, reproducibility, and citability of EasyScience software, we are enabling Zenodo GitHub integration for all active EasyScience repositories (libraries and applications).
By linking a repository to Zenodo, every GitHub release is automatically archived and assigned a persistent DOI, making it easier for users to cite the software correctly in publications and reports. This also aligns with FAIR principles and common practices in scientific software development.
Steps
https://zenodo.org/account/settings/github/
easyscience/peasy-lib) and enable it (toggle ON)You should see: “Repository synced successfully. Please reload the page.”
The project-level DOI will appear next to the repository name (e.g.
10.5281/zenodo.XXXXXXXX) on the same page:https://zenodo.org/account/settings/github/
(e.g.
easyscience/peasy) following:https://github.com/easyscience/templates (Section 2.4)
(e.g.
easyscience/peasy-lib)Notes
