Update subscription doesn't show changes anymore in 1.2 B7

Is this a regression or by intended? Showing changes/statistics when updating a subscription was a nice feature to have a glance on rate of changes by a VPN provider.

I did not find any changes, Can you tell me the exact scenario where the previous versions showed something where the current one does not? note that sub change is printed in logs, so a fast moving log panel can quickly push the sub change out of view.

Maybe because I thought Throne acts similar to Exclave and shows differences/statistics inside a pop up window. Enhancement?

This was added to Throne, but I have a few comments:

1. After using Throne for a long time, I’ve gotten into the habit of manually updating my main subscription every morning after I start up my computer (I don’t know why I don’t use the auto-renewal feature—I’m just more used to doing it manually). Now, every time I manually update my subscription, I see a window showing the changes, which simply duplicates everything that’s written in the logs. I’d love to see an option in Main Settings > Subscriptions > “Do not display the subscription changes window.”
2. When there are a large number of updated profiles (for example, automatically compiled lists of public proxies on GitHub that are frequently updated, or a standard subscription to 30+ profiles where only the shortID field is updated during an update—see point 3 for more details), they do not fit on the screen, and the OK button is hidden as well; the only option is to click the X. Perhaps this window should display a list of profiles with the ability to scroll through the list.

3. The logic behind subscription updates seems to be roughly as follows: if the profile differs by at least one field after the update, the existing one is deleted and the new one is saved. However, there is one field that may change when a subscription is updated—the shortId.

In the server configuration, this is not a single string but an array of strings, and upon update, the client is assigned a random value or the next value in the array. It would be good if Throne actually updated the profile instead of creating a new one; this would preserve the test results and traffic statistics.

Yes, this works great with regular subscriptions, but not for JSON X-Ray. Is it possible to implement this for them as well? Only the shortid is different there.

For the subscriptions I have, this works really well. Even if the proxy provider changes the rules in the full configuration, this profile will still be considered updated, which will preserve the test results and traffic statistics—that’s really cool, thanks. I think we can close this issue.
