No display when streaming but sounds/controls work

I've been playing around with making my own kodi set top box, and wanted to get moonlight streaming working so I could play games from the couch. I'm using an intel NUC 5i5RYK with LibreElec 12.2.1. After installing your plugin I was able to to remote into my PC and get sound, as well as control steam via a connected bluetooth controller, but nothing displays on my NUC. I know my moonlight setup in general works as I use it with a steamdeck, phone, and even my TV's built in moonlight app. I'm using Apollo to leverage virtual displays and have no issues with it with other devices. Maybe it's a driver issue? I'm using libreElec x85 generic legacy install as I couldn't get moonlight to work at all with the regular x86 install.

It's probably not a an issue with the plugin itself but more of a supported hardware issue in LibreELEC or Moonlight-qt.
Can you post your moonlight-qt.log file? You can find it in the /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.program.moonlight-qt folder.

Same symptom on an Intel N5000 (Gemini Lake, UHD 605) repurposed old laptop motherboard.

Blank screen, but the stream is alive, controller is being correctly passed through, and can successfully end the stream from the client. Wasn't able to test if audio was being passed through okay (no speakers connected)

Tried forcing both h.264 and hevc, but same result.
Tried a range of resolutions/vsync toggle.

Works fine when forcing software decoding, though obviously less than ideal on an N5000.

The same hardware running the latest build of Mint has no problems with moonlight.

Hi! I have the same issue with an Intel Core i7-4770 CPU, it only works using software rendering since updating to LibreELEC 12.2 but worked fine before. I tried various other settings without success. Other controls work, just display does not.

Would it help if I share my log too? It appears a different driver (i915) is used in my case but the issue is the same.

Looks like Moonlight-qt tries to use HEVC but the kernel driver or moonlight itself fails to render a proper image:
