Gamepad has incorrect map

Hello! i am stuck upon a problem. when i connect my controller with bluetooth and type-c wire it has incorrect map. for example: when i press share button on my dualsense it registers left bumper press. also it has switched sticks with triggers. can you somehow fix it or add button/trigger calibration to your app? thank you

I guess you are using Android version but I miss basic information which BrickController app version do you use?
Additionally could you check some generic game controller app to test it please? E.g. Game Controller Tester - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.powgames.gamecondiag, what does it tell about your buttons and axis?

sorry that was my bad. my phone is on android 12
and my app version is 2025.05.

i did some research before i wrote this post but i found nothing (i didnt searched like "brick controller 2 gamepad bad") vut after i wrote this post i found out that android 12 has no built in support for dualsense gamepad. so it has wrong map.

i used a gamepad tester app before and everything was good until i updated my phone. after that triggers and sticks swapped not only in the BC2 but everywhere, and now its a complete mess.

and im also very sorry for wasting your time, but it would still be great if you add controller rebind feature to your app, so the map will be right inside of the app. if its not possible i understand everything.

"I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these difficulties. Since the app’s input handling is built on the standard Android API, our troubleshooting options are somewhat limited by how the OS interprets the hardware.

I’ve logged a formal feature request #201 to track this, though I can't guarantee a timeline for implementation as the calibration logic is quite complex. In the meantime, consulting AI tools or community forums might offer a specialized workaround.
