Question
I might be pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, but here goes anyway.
I have a product that supports many other products, in this case it can only support one of the supported products at a time.
I want to allow the User to use “Change” option to select a different version to support.
If (SP3DVERSION="SP3D2019") OR (SP3DVERSION="SP3D13") OR (SP3DVERSION="SP3D131") then I want one version of my LFM.xml file, and if SP3DVERSION="SP3D14" then I want a different version of LFM.xml
The files are getting swapped over when changing between products just fine, but…. The XML edits are not happening correctly (they work just fine on first install) in fact the XML edit is blanking out the ElementPath even though the LFMSERVERSP3D property is set. Running a “Repair” after changing versions causes the XML edit to happen with the correct path.
In the Dialog where the User selects the supported version desired, I am Publishing the “Reinstall” event when the “Next” button is clicked.
Is there any way I can get the XML edit to work correctly in Maintenance mode??
