Problem or use case
Thanks for such a great tool! I have installed Backupd on two of my servers to test it out and I really like what you did, it's so simple to use.
I have a request though. How about excluding specific directories? I noticed that when backing up files, Backupd saves each directory (that is, each site inside /home) in its own snapshot, and that is terrific, it really helps when restoring. But inside each /home// directory I have a snap directory (with some CLI tools) and a directory (with the actual site). These snap directories do not need to be backed up.
Keep up the great work!
Proposed solution
Just add an "excluded files/directories" option.
