changing PeopleTheme from `@android:style/Theme.Material.Light.DarkActionBar` to `Theme.AppCompat.DayNight.DarkActionBar` changes menu item icon color from bold white to soft white.
Toolbar is broken on activity.
rename color based what it being used for, i.e "quantum_black" gives impression like it is a black color but depending on theme it could be black or white.
Triggering "Back" action opened the list of all contacts, instead of taking the user back to the caller activity.
This lets the caller ask for multiple items by passing the EXTRA_ALLOW_MULTIPLE intent extra.

This removes a few dark theme specific colors and tweaks the primary and primary_dark colors to improve contrast in the dark theme.
