Code to support operations of the Versatile Crop Yield Estimate (VeRCYe) pipeline.
The original VeRCYe algorithm is published here.
Note
Maturity Notice
The core VeRCYe library (CLI, Snakemake pipeline, LAI generation) is used operationally and considered stable.
The VeRCYe webapp is functional but not yet fully mature. It is designed for local deployments in secure environments and has not undergone security audits for deployment on the public internet.
- Reduces manual effort required for executing the VeRCYe crop yield estimate pipeline.
- All workflow steps exposed via a documented CLI for step-by-step execution.
- Includes a Snakemake-based pipeline for job orchestration, batch processing and reproducibility.
- Utilities to download meteorological data, Sentinel-2 Imagery and to generate LAI products
- Automatic computation of validation metrics
- Orchestrates APSIM for biophysical crop-development simulations
Follow the setup instructions in the Documentation and refer to the Running VeRCYe section to setup and run your first yield study.
