Reviewbird for Cursor

Use Reviewbird in Cursor to analyze product reviews, find customer feedback trends, and take permitted review actions.

This plugin connects Cursor to the hosted Reviewbird MCP server. Cursor uses OAuth 2.0 to open the Reviewbird sign-in page. You do not need an API key or client secret.

What you can do

• Compare review counts, ratings, reply rates, and verified purchase rates across stores and periods.
• Find review and product trends.
• Read selected customer feedback and summarize common themes.
• Approve or reject selected reviews when your Reviewbird access permits it.
• Draft and publish public replies when your Reviewbird access permits it.

Install

1. Open Cursor Settings → Plugins.
2. Search for Reviewbird.
3. Select Install.
4. Sign in to Reviewbird and select Allow connection.

You can also run /add-plugin reviewbird in Cursor chat after the plugin is listed.

If Cursor cannot read a store, open that store in Reviewbird. Go to Settings → MCP Access, then enable Allow MCP access to this store.

Access controls

• Read access requires a Starter plan or higher.
• Write actions require a Plus plan or higher.
• An organization owner must enable MCP access for each store.
• An organization owner must also enable MCP write actions for each store.
• The signed-in user must have review moderation permission for write actions.

Reviewbird applies an approved write action at once. Approval can start configured messages, discounts, translations, review syncs, or commerce workflows. Rejection schedules attached review media for deletion after 30 days.

• Compare review performance across all my stores for this month and last month.
• Summarize the main themes in my recent one-star and two-star reviews.
• Show my pending reviews and help me decide which ones need action.
• Draft a public reply to review 301.

Data and safety

Customer review text is untrusted content. The included skills tell Cursor to treat review text as data and not as instructions.

The plugin repository contains no credentials. Cursor and Reviewbird manage OAuth tokens outside the plugin package.

Local test

1. Open Cursor Settings → Plugins.
2. Select Add → From Local Repo.
3. Select this repository.
4. Confirm that Cursor shows two skills and one MCP server.

Complete the Reviewbird OAuth flow and run a read-only prompt before you test write actions.
