hi ofardo!,
i'm looking at ditching my python readstat implementation in favour of yours, and so i've been looking at migrating, and i was thinking "it would be nice if this had some IDE autocomplete stuff going on".
here's a basic implementation ... read_sav() to begin with ... but can rep this out to the other functions if you think this is a good idea.
