I am a Moroccan engineer currently based in Shenzhen. I work on applied machine learning, product engineering, and tools for languages that are often poorly served by mainstream software.
These days, most of my time goes into jak.ma, a service marketplace for Morocco, and into small open-source projects around Darija and model evaluation.
- darija-tools — a dependency-free Python library for Darija normalization and bidirectional Arabizi transliteration.
- JakMa evaluation suite — tests and scoring tools for a grounded LLM retrieval system.
- Sovereign School OS — a runnable React and TypeScript prototype with student, teacher, and administration views.
- Darija agriculture demo — a Gradio crop-identification demo with Darija responses and refusal gating.
- JakMa Engine — public classification, grounded-retrieval, and bounded tool-calling code from jak.ma.
- YOLOv8 in PyTorch — an object-detection implementation developed during an autonomous-driving perception project at Neusoft.
- ADCMOplus — undergraduate research on online learning for dynamic constrained multi-objective optimization, with public theory notes and Python demos.
These are the four threads connecting the projects. An x marks a substantial part of the work, not a minor feature.

- MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Tsinghua University
- Computer science and AI training at Northwestern Polytechnical University
- Mostly working in Python, TypeScript, PyTorch, React, and evaluation tooling
- Working across Morocco and China, with a particular interest in low-resource language technology
