Github Activity Generator

[talha081]

@Shpota Hi,

I tried your script for activity generation, it worked. But the issue is it is just showing the new activity to only me. When some other person or I myself open my profile where I am not logged in or it shows the original activity and commit history. I have attached the screenshots.

Hi @talha081,

Thanks for reaching out. The behavior you are describing—where the commit activity appears only for you and not for others visiting your profile—is typically caused by one of two things:

Private Repository: Ensure that the repository where the activity is being generated is set to Public. If the repository is private, GitHub will only show the activity to you and collaborators, not the general public.

Email Configuration: Check that the email address used in your Git configuration for those commits matches the primary email address linked to your GitHub account. If they don't match, the commits will not be associated with your public contribution graph.

You can verify your email setting by running this command in your terminal:
git config --global user.email

Please check those settings and let us know if that resolves the issue!
