This repo contains the research project submissions for the BeyondAI programme in 2025. Apart from one maths project on the universal approximation theorem for MLPs all other projects are code based. The accompanying research posters for each project can be found in the BeyondAI Proceedings 2025.
The research projects have been completed over the course of six weeks of the BeyondAI Research Stage. All authors except for one are either undergraduates in their first- or second year, or secondary school/high school students by the time they have completed their project. They have been working in teams of two and have been supervised by an academic mentor (eiher a PhD student, postdoc, assistant professor or full professor), with whom they have had at least five one-hour progress meetings during the course of the six-week Research Stage.
All the work is indpendent, individual research conducted by each team. They were only assigned broad topics and given some literature for each. During the six weeks they had to
- Work out a research question,
- Make a research plan,
- Conduct the research to answer their question
- Make a poster and present their research to their mentor and to the public at the BeyondAI Research Fair. Those who didn't present at the Fair, had to present their work to the organisers.
For the individual research projects please navigate to the folder of each team. For research projects of past iterations of the BeyondAI programme please navigate to BeyondAI 2024.
