Part of #82928.
What?
Cherry-picks two upstream trunk fixes into this branch's
wp-envpackage source (packages/env/lib/init-config.js) to fix Docker build failures caused by Debian repositories being archived after their releases reached end-of-life, and adds a third fix that only this branch needs:trunk.A follow-up commit applies #85469:
archive.debian.orgnow servesbullseye-security, so it is rewritten to the archive host instead of dropped, keeping Debian security updates in the PHP 7.3, 7.4 and 8.0 images. Another adds PHP 5.6 to the changelog entry for the stretch-based images, sincewordpress:php5.6is stretch-based too. Why?
Debian moves a release's package repositories to its archive server once that release reaches end-of-life.
wp-env start's Docker build fails withapt-get404s against the regular mirrors for any PHP version whose base image relies on an archived Debian release. This branch supports PHP versions across the range affected by Buster, Bullseye and Stretch, so all three fixes are needed — even for PHP versions this branch doesn't actively test in CI, since a contributor may still need to runwp-envlocally against any officially supported version.Stretch needs one more step. Rewriting its sources to the archive isn't enough, because the archive's signing keys for Stretch have expired and won't be replaced, so
apt-get installfails withE: There were unauthenticated packages and -y was used without --allow-unauthenticated. The override only takes effect when Stretch is in/etc/apt/sources.list, so newer Debian releases are unaffected.Use of AI Tools
