What?
Adds a retry mechanism to the e2e REST API discovery helper (
request-utils/rest.ts).Why?
wp-env's port can open before its REST API is actually routable, causing the discovery call to fail almost instantly after test-run startup with no visible error. Ported from WordPress/gutenberg#62331.This is the same patch as
wp/6.5#83063.wp/6.7and newer already have it.Use of AI Tools
