The only new feature introduced is full-screen mode – I found it useful, and clicking the menu became easier.
.gitignore contains files and directories that aren't transferable between computers.
*.properties, *.gradle – transition to Gradle 9.5.0 and the built-in Kotlin compiler, along with the removal of various warnings and deprecated messages.
The last commit is the worst because it's the largest and concerns the code itself. It grew on me as I was removing warnings about deprecated methods from the API and removing type conversion warnings.
