The trig namespace provides trigonometry-specific functions.

degrees(x)

Converts x from radians into degrees.

radians(x)

Converts x from degrees into radians.

hypotenuse(x, y)

Returns the distance from (0, 0) to (x, y).

acos(x)

Returns the inverse cosine of x.

asin(x)

Returns the inverse sine of x.

atan(x, y=None)

Returns the inverse tangent of x.

If y is given, it is the angle against which x is calculated, to determine periodicity for quadrant-resolution.

cos(x)

Returns the cosine of x.

sin(x)

Returns the sine of x.

tan(x)

Returns the tangent of x.

acosh(x)

Returns the inverse hyperbolic cosine of x.

asinh(x)

Returns the inverse hyperbolic sine of x.

atanh(x)

Returns the inverse hyperbolic tangent of x.

cosh(x)

Returns the hyperbolic cosine of x.

sinh(x)

Returns the hyperbolic sine of x.

tanh(x)

Returns the hyperbolic tangent of x.
