Hey @brian316, I don't think you'll require Background Modes capability with Remote notifications in general to use this plugin.
One use case I'd think of are Silent Notifications, but the plugin doesn't support them directly.
Can you please provide more information on what use cases you found with what the plugin provides that requires said capability?
