This selects Arrow 60 while Lance 12, DataFusion 54, and the direct arrow-array/arrow-schema dependencies use Arrow 58.4. Their Rust record batch, schema, and FFI types are distinct, so the extension cannot compile. Please align arrow with the 58.4 stack here. In an isolated copy, restoring this manifest line to 58.0.0 and re-resolving the lockfile made cargo check pass.
Reproducer on this head: cargo check --locked --manifest-path Cargo.toml with Rust 1.97.1 fails with 33 errors, including E0308 at rust/scanner.rs:37 (Arrow 60 RecordBatch expected, Arrow 58.4 returned) and rust/ffi/write.rs:958 (different FFI_ArrowArray versions).

The Arrow dependency mismatch remains after merging main and prevents the extension from building. Keep this update on the Arrow 58.x line shared by Lance 12 and DataFusion 54; moving to Arrow 60 requires a compatible upstream stack upgrade.
