Provider contracts and discovery src/backend/base/langflow/services/triggers/providers/registry.py, src/backend/tests/unit/services/triggers/test_provider_registry.py, docs/features/trigger-provider-runtime.md |
Defines provider and trigger-kind contracts, validates declarations, and discovers providers through owned integration entry points. The documentation describes registration and packaging requirements. |
OAuth adapters and manual-token connections src/backend/base/langflow/services/connection/oauth/*, src/backend/base/langflow/services/connection/service.py, src/backend/base/langflow/api/v1/integrations.py, src/frontend/src/pages/SettingsPage/pages/ConnectionsPage/*, src/frontend/src/locales/* |
Adds provider OAuth adapters and manual-credential validation. The integration API exposes eligible manual-token profiles, which the connection dialog uses to create provider-token connections. |
Trigger lifecycle and ingress hooks src/backend/base/langflow/api/v1/trigger_ingress.py, src/backend/base/langflow/services/triggers/*, src/lfx/src/lfx/services/settings/groups/runtime.py, src/backend/tests/unit/services/triggers/* |
Uses the provider registry for trigger arming, collection, ingress, subscriptions, and cleanup. Provider ingress can return handshakes, response metadata, or source items. |
Salesforce bundle and record actions src/bundles/salesforce/src/lfx_salesforce/schema.py, src/bundles/salesforce/src/lfx_salesforce/client.py, src/bundles/salesforce/src/lfx_salesforce/components/salesforce/*, src/bundles/salesforce/tests/test_actions_contract.py, src/bundles/salesforce/README.md |
Adds Salesforce schema validation, an HTTP client, and record read, create, and update components. The bundle includes capability manifests, action tests, documentation, and wheel verification. |
Salesforce OAuth and polling trigger src/backend/base/langflow/services/triggers/providers/salesforce/*, src/bundles/salesforce/tests/test_provider_contract.py, src/backend/tests/unit/services/triggers/test_salesforce_lifecycle.py |
Registers a Salesforce record trigger and adds org-bound OAuth handling and polling collection. Tests cover provider contracts and trigger lifecycle behavior. |

An enabled Salesforce record trigger can stay active but never poll Salesforce or start a flow, which defeats the main trigger feature. Fix the listener poll filter before merging. Developer Edition orgs on partitioned hosts are also rejected, which is a smaller issue.

Full details: Test Coverage For New Implementations
-
Explanation
PASS. The PR adds substantial, non-placeholder coverage with project-compliant names. Salesforce unit/contract tests in
src/bundles/salesforce/tests/test_actions_contract.pyandtest_provider_contract.pycover all three actions, schema and security boundaries, OAuth, polling, cursors, batching, and failure cases. Backend lifecycle tests insrc/backend/tests/unit/services/triggers/test_salesforce_lifecycle.pycover activation, baseline suppression, dispatch, cleanup, stale rounds, policy, scopes, ownership, and resume. Shared provider runtime changes have registry, OAuth adapter, and end-to-end lifecycle tests, including POST/GET ingress and deduplication. The frontend change hasAddConnectionDialog.slackToken.test.tsx, which tests provider-validated token creation and token-mode behavior. Test files usetest_*.pyand.test.tsxconventions.
Full details: Test Quality And Coverage
-
Explanation
Tests cover the main new behavior. Salesforce action tests verify read, create, update, allowlists, credentials, scopes, refresh, provider errors, timeout handling, and extension loading. Provider contract tests verify OAuth binding, configuration rejection, baseline polling, cursor advancement, retention limits, malformed batches, and missing records. Backend lifecycle tests use async pytest patterns and exercise activation, dispatch, deduplication, cleanup, failed fetches, stale cursors, policy checks, and resume behavior. Provider lifecycle tests exercise API success and error responses for POST delivery and GET handshake. The frontend change uses Jest and React Testing Library and verifies provider-token rendering, accessibility, payload identity, scopes, and validation behavior.
Full details: Test File Naming And Structure
-
Explanation
All changed test files follow the repository patterns. Backend tests use
test_*.pyunder unit test directories with pytest fixtures, markers, descriptivetest_*names, and positive and negative cases. Salesforce bundle tests are in its configuredtestspath and use isolated fixtures with mocked HTTP and credential state. The frontend test isAddConnectionDialog.slackToken.test.tsxundersrc/frontend/src, and it uses Jest plus React Testing Library. The tests cover success paths, validation failures, authentication failures, cleanup, and edge cases. No changed end-to-end test requires a Playwright*.spec.tsfile.
Full details: Excessive Mock Usage Warning
-
Explanation
No excessive mock usage is evident. Salesforce tests use
httpx.MockTransportonly at the external Salesforce HTTP boundary, while asserting URLs, methods, payloads, retries, and errors.test_salesforce_lifecycle.pyexercises real database sessions,TriggerService, source runtime, dispatch, ingress, and cleanup paths. The provider lifecycle tests also use real shared runtime behavior with small synthetic provider and registry doubles. The frontend test mocks API hooks and unrelated UI modules but renders the real dialog and verifies user interactions and submitted data. The mocks isolate external dependencies rather than replace the core logic under test.

Build successful! ✅ |
Adds Salesforce read, create, and update actions plus observed record-change polling for Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity, and Case. One operator-configured My Domain org is supported. Polling establishes a baseline and observes latest record state, so intermediate edits and deletions are outside this mode.
Connections require api, id, and refresh_token scopes. Failed consent explains missing refresh access without leaving a new broken connection. Fresh CLI tests verify the unsupported headless error, and exported flows retain inputs named fields. The guide covers setup, limits, event identity, and reconnect followed by Resume.
Depends on #15947. This branch includes the shared runtime prerequisite and targets release-1.14.0.
Verification
103 provider, recovery, and API tests passed. 65 bundle tests and 44 capability contract tests passed. 348 connection, trigger, and locale UI tests passed. The full documentation build passed. Commands used synced environments with this branch first on PYTHONPATH.
Live provider acceptance and public documentation deployment remain unverified. The shared frontend type check has 255 baseline errors, unchanged before and after the fixes in the Jira and Confluence reference branches. CI and review remain separate requirements.
