Describe the solution you'd like
We use New Relic for all of our APM and monitoring/alerting, so it doesn't appear that there is an easy monitoring solution right now for the LD relay proxy. Specifically with regards to tracing, I can't see how we'd export traces to New Relic (for metrics at least it seems we can set up a prometheus scrape job with an otel collector).
Would it be possible to get OTEL support added? That's how we've integrated other services such as this that don't have native integrations with New Relic.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The alternative for us is to just set up monitoring in our cloud provider, which is not ideal.

@cmanzi-bestow thank you for filing this feature request. This is an improvement we are aware of, and would also like to implement. I do not have a timeline yet for when this feature will be supported, but I can make sure we notify you here once the work is completely.
