Modmapper

A library to simplify making modcharts in beat saber.

General information

Caution

!!!MODMAPPER WILL DELETE ANY EXISTING DATA IN THE MAP FILE EXCEPT FOR THE COLOR NOTES(IT DOES DELETE COLOR NOTE CUSTOM DATA). DO NOT USE CHROMAPPER TO ADD ANY EVENTS SINCE IT *WILL* BE DELETED BY MODMAPPER!!!

Why?

To be completely honest the reason I made this is because when I used Swifters framework called ReMapper I was really frustrated with home complicated it was and how little sense it made to me. It is centeinly a skill issue I know but then I thought: Fuck it I'm going to make it easy to make a modchart. So I did

How?

It is really simple to be honest, it is just a big JavaScript file that is being loaded in the user's dictionary that exports a bunch of functions that translate normal input into valid v3 map JSON data. I found out that I could use npm to let people to install it globally and it is pretty easy since you only need git and node to do so.

Want to try modmapper for yourself?

I don't recommend using it at the moment since it is still in really really early development but if you really want to you should check out the wiki on how to get started! :D
