Summary

Reorganizes the Recovery for Active Directory knowledge base into 3 categorized folders with improved navigation structure and adds dedicated sidebar navigation.

Changes Made

  • Reorganized KB articles into 3 categorized folders:
    • Configuration and Administration (2 articles)
      • how-to-reset-multi-factor-authentication
      • recovery-for-ad-web-console-only-available-via-http
    • Installation and Deployment (2 articles)
      • smtp-notification-dll-registration-error-during-installation-upgrade
      • migrating-v2-6-to-a-new-server
    • Operations and Troubleshooting (2 articles)
      • backup-functionality-summary
      • remove-server-backup-stuck-in-queued-status
  • Moved images to 0-images/ folder for improved organization
  • Updated _category_.json with new structure
  • Enhanced index.md with category descriptions
  • Added dedicated sidebar navigation (sidebars/recoveryforactivedirectory/2.6.js)

Files Changed

  • 11 files total:
    • 6 KB articles reorganized
    • 2 images moved
    • 3 configuration files updated

Testing

  • 🔁 Branch rebased onto latest dev
  • ✅ Server build completed successfully
  • ⏳ Navigation and link verification still needed (to be completed after repository rebuild)

- Create category folders following established KB pattern
- Move 6 articles into appropriate categories (Configuration & Admin, Installation & Deployment, Operations & Troubleshooting)
- Rename images/ to 0-images/
- Update all image references (./images/ → ../0-images/)
- Update index.md landing page with category descriptions
- Enable KB section in version 2.6 sidebar
- Update _category_.json configuration

Restored from archived repository with clean commit history.
