Please add the feature to control target per site, this is essential, because some sites break when forcing current tab, some sites even close the session (login), then need at least an whitelist.

Hi, thanks for your patience.

Adding such a list would require quite some additional work.
If you know the website will behave weirdly when forcing if leaving temporarily the page, can't you open the link with ctrl + click or middle click or something like that when you need it?

Would you have an example?

@nicofrand in the past had an plugin called TargetKiller, before the Web Extension era, this plugin had two modes, black and white lists, and the list of removed "targets", if you implement something like it can be cool! Think about it!

To be honest, if you know the website will behave weirdly, just middle click/ctrl + click or even right click then open in a new tab. That's much simpler IMO.
